Labelizer FAQ

Answers to the most common questions about running Labelizer.

Is the target ROAS or CPA I set in Labelizer the same as my Google Ads target?

No. The target you set in Labelizer is used only to sort your products into buckets. It is not a bidding target and does not change how Google Ads optimizes your campaigns. Your Google Ads target ROAS or CPA stays whatever you set inside Google Ads.

How often should I change my Labelizer settings?

Once your strategy is set, leave it running. Labelizer relies on stable data, and constant changes work against it. Revisit your settings when something real changes, for example:

  • You change your budget or target in your Google Ads campaigns.

  • Your average ROAS shifts meaningfully.

  • You enter a high or low season, or your assortment changes a lot.

  • You spot a conversion tracking issue in Google Ads.

Why do the numbers in Labelizer differ from Google Ads?

Small differences are normal. Labelizer analyzes a specific time period and the conversion actions you selected, and Google Ads reporting can use different attribution and date windows. The buckets are about relative performance over your chosen period, not an exact match to a Google Ads report.

Most of my products are in one bucket. Is that normal?

Yes. It is common for a large share of products to land in No index or Under-index, because only a small share of products usually drives most of the revenue. That is the point of segmenting: protect budget on the weak products and concentrate it on the ones that perform. For No index products, a small dedicated campaign can give them a chance to gather data.

Should I keep my old campaigns running alongside the segmented ones?

Try not to. Running old campaigns over the same products at the same time as your segmented setup causes them to compete, wastes budget, and splits your results across campaigns. Transition your existing campaign into your segmented structure rather than running both in parallel.
